URF259 Reflector & Repeaters
The ZOMBIE ALERT is a network of Fusion repeaters in the Detroit Metro area, connected to a Wires-X Room and to the URF259 Reflector. This system bridges multiple digital modes and analog repeaters, allowing seamless communication across platforms.

Connection Instructions
You can connect to the URF259 network using any of the following digital modes. All modes are bridged to Module A.
Digital Modes
- Yaesu System Fusion (YSF): Connect to Room
#01259(US-URF259) - Wires-X: Room
#28298 - DMR:
- Mode: Mini DMR (Flexible Mode). No complex linking required.
- Host:
urf259.whocaresradio.com(Port62032) - Multimode Channel: TG 7001. This Talkgroup is statically linked to Module A, bridging you to all other modes (YSF, Wires-X, P25, etc.).
- Dynamic Talkgroups: Key up on any other Talkgroup to create a temporary subscription.
-
Disconnect: Group Call TG 4000 to clear dynamic subscriptions.
-
P25: Talkgroup
1259 - NXDN: Talkgroup
1259 - M17: Connect to
URF259ModuleA
Network Topology
The URF259 network integrates a "Mini DMR" scanner system with a traditional multimode bridge.

Mini DMR Explained
Mini DMR treats the reflector like a scanner.
- Static vs. Dynamic:
- Static (TG 7001): Always connected. This is your main "meeting place" to hear traffic from YSF, Wires-X, and other modes.
- Dynamic: Created when you PTT on a Talkgroup. The reflector subscribes you to that TG for a set time (default 10 mins).
- Disconnecting: To clear a Dynamic subscription (and return to just monitoring Static), transmit a Group Call to TG 4000.
